Monaco Grand Prix week is a logistics problem dressed up as a holiday. Berths in Port Hercules are allocated by the Yacht Club de Monaco by March; most of our fleet confirm contracts in January. If you're reading this after Easter and hoping for a berth, you will be at anchor in Cap d'Ail, which, honestly, is not a bad outcome.
The week runs Wednesday to Sunday. Most guests arrive by helicopter to the Monte Carlo Heliport on Thursday; the tender schedule thereafter is more complex than the race. Crew manage roughly 40-60 tender movements per day across the Amber Lounge, the Red Bull Energy Station, the Ferrari Paddock Club, and private dinners at Hotel de Paris, Casino, and the Yacht Club.
Our quiet advice: build the charter Saturday-to-Saturday with Saturday qualifying, Sunday race, and a Monday afternoon departure to Iles de Lerins for decompression. The Monday morning in Monaco, empty harbour, quiet quay, no traffic, is one of the secret pleasures of the week.
